The Positive Psychology Coaching experience inspires and supports positive change using evidence-based, solidly grounded approaches that promote the well-being of the whole person or team. A coaching relationship is one of attentive listening, acceptance, understanding, and genuine empathy. Scientifically backed techniques will help identify strengths, values, pleasures, and resources as well as help you connect with the heart of who you truly are. These findings will likely show you new ways to clarify your current goals, increase efficacy, and proceed with empowered confidence.
I use an integrative wellness model. Rather than focus on the past, I put the focus on creating. We work on what's strong on the inside, not what's wrong on the outside. Together we will envision the path to your goals and utilize these discoveries to create meaning, enjoyment, and self-concordant changes.
Change comes quickly with enhanced perception, newly discovered options, alignment with your personal balance, and supportive encouragement. Our time together will unlock valid, practical abilities to build on strengths and move toward your desired success.
My coach trainings through the Wholebeing Institute, co-founded by my teacher Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar, and certification with Dr. Robert Biswas-Diener of the Coaching Institute and Positive Acorn, along with advanced training through the VIA Institute on Character, center on positive psychology, integrative wellness, and mindfully cultivating a character strengths focus.
I am also a graduate of the highly acclaimed Certificate in Positive Psychology program through the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and the Wholebeing Institute.
"Positive Psychology is the scientific study of the strengths and virtues that enable individuals and communities to thrive. The field is founded on the belief that people want to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives, to cultivate what is best within themselves, and to enhance their experiences of love, work, and play." ~ UPENN Positive Psychology Center
